Preventive care begins with a healthy, holistic lifestyle. Exercise, nutrition, plenty of rest and time for fun are keys to a healthy, stess-free life. My training philosophy leads to positive physical changes inside and out: weight management and increased muscle tone, muscle strength and bone density; decreased blood pressure, healthy cholesterol levels, and improved sleep
My experience as fitness professional began in 2000. I have since been a personal trainer and wellness and group fitness instructor at UCSD, The Salk Institute, SDSU and with my personal client following. My philosophy evolved through educatin and more importantly by living the lifestyle. I continually change my exercise program and experiment with nutrition to discover what fuels me for optimal energy. I have experienced and can refer you to variety of alternative healing techniques including massage, acupuncture, functional nutrition, cranial-sacral and naturopahty.
I will help you create a program that gives you the amazing results you desire. Working one-on-one with you, I will individualize training methods designed to reach your personal goals and challenge you within your boundaries. I am a technician of body mechanics with utmost attentino to proper form, technique and safety. Workouts are designed to be effective, challenging and exciting. I will educate you about proper nutritional habits to help you maximize energy and manage weight. I will guide you toward a basic, whole foods way of eating that allows you to feel energetic and satiated. Cooking is my passion and I enjoy sharing original recipes with others! I take pride in a continual search for knowledge. I read journals, listen to podcast and attend lectures and conferences so that I can pass along the most current information to you. My goal is to help you reach your goals.
